Behavioral Medicine | Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. Dr. Mendez has a special interest in animal behavior. She can help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior and then develop a treatment regimen for the client. |

Pet Taxi |
With FETCH, our Pet Taxi service, we will transport your pet to our hospital and back home again at an affordable rate.
We provide our Pet Taxi if your pet has an appointment with one of our doctors or needs a ride to our doggie daycare. We transport dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
We are totally committed on making your pet’s journey safe, comfortable and as stress free as possible.
So the next time you can’t get your pet to us, we’ll come pick your pet up!

Training Obedience Training for Adolescents
Dr. Mendez offers training classes in a group setting to adolescent dogs. All classes are in a safe, controlled environment inside our facility with air conditioning.
Puppy Parties
What is a puppy party? A puppy party is a good time for people and puppies. It gives puppies a chance to see and play with other puppies their age, new people and children. Socialization with dogs and people is the most important thing you can do to ensure that you will have a friendly adult pet. It is also the number one way to help prevent aggression. Play will be supervised by Dr. Mendez to ensure a good time for all and puppies will be paired with appropriate sized playmates.

Bathing | Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning. |

Boarding | Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling) and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active. If there is something special that you would like for us to do with your pet while you are away, we would be happy to accomodate you! If your pet is staying with us longer than five days, we will provide a complimentary bath with nail trim and ear cleaning. |

Dental Care Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. Prior to performing a dental on your pet, we will test your pet's blood and urine to help detect any underlying health concerns. With this combination of tests we are better able to determine the health of your pet. Depending on the outcome of a blood chemistry profile and complete blood count, we may alter the anesthesia protocol so it is tailored for your pet.
We use modern and safe ultrasonic equipment to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface that is more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Following the dental procedure, we recommend that your pet receive dental home care to help maintain long lasting good dental health. |

Emergency and Critical Care | In any emergency seconds count. Our experienced staff is qualified to help our doctors administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local fully staffed emergency center in Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. |

Hospice / Euthanasia Services | Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Immunization and Wellness Care We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in our Wellness Programs has rewards for both you and your pets. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam, internal parasite testing, heartworm and flea control, vaccination program, spay and neuter package and specialized blood tests for all life stages.
We now offer a program tailored just for senior pets. The Senior Wellness Program offers a comprehensive examination, glaucoma check, comprehensive blood chemistry profile, complete blood count profile, a complete urinalysis and full body x-rays. We have had tremendous success with this program. There have been several cases that x-rays detected unknown problems such as internal tumors and bladder stones which were surgically removed with a successful outcome. Bloodwork has detected underlying kidney problems which was treated successfully. Endocrine problems have also been discovered on bloodwork profiles and successfully treated.
